The Clinique Générale-Beaulieu has focused on robot-assisted surgery using the Da Vinci ® (Intuitive Surgical) system since January 2003. It currently has the latest version of the four-arm HD robot (Da Vinci® S HD) and a 3D projection room.
The advantages of this surgical approach are undeniable given the 3D vision afforded by the endoscopic cameras and the accuracy of the instruments calibrated to the nearest millimetre. To quote just one example of this surgical revolution, the percentage of cancer-related ablations of the prostate using the Da Vinci® robot has risen in the USA from 1% in 2003 to over 80% in 2010. The Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is proud of the fact that it has perfected this technology over time.
