This unit functions 24 hours a day and consists of the same care-giving team.
The room has the advantage of the latest technological equipment such as:
- Variable-intensity indirect white lighting,
- 11 recovery stations,
- 1 Sahara (blood warming system),
- 2 Cell Savers (machine to process the blood during and after certain interventions),
- 3 Warm Touch systems (patient warming system),
- 1 blood gas analysis unit,
- 1 capillary blood glucose measurement unit,
- 1 HemoCue haemoglobinometer for instantaneous haemoglobin measurement.
