The Surgical Unit houses nine Operating Theatres (two of which are the Endoscopic and Urological Theatres), and is well able to meet the needs of all of the various surgical specialties.
Each of the Theatres is entered through an induction Room. Here the patient will be met by the same Anaesthetist s/he will have previously consulted to complete the pre-operation questionnaire.
To help the Surgeon cope with the ever-increasing demands of surgical practice, the most advanced technologies have been made available. The Surgical Unit's technical base encompasses facilities of the highest quality.
