The right to practice at the Clinic shall only be granted to Doctors who have been awarded a Federal Certificate, i.e. who hold an SMA (Swiss Medical Association) Specialisation. Furthermore, Doctors who wish to practise in the Surgical Unit as an SMA approved Surgeon or other Surgical Specialist must have held the position of Senior Registrar or Assistant Registrar, or an equivalent post in an institution recognised by the SMA to obtain the qualification of Specialist.
