This specialized unit of 15 beds was established in 1994 in response to the needs of patients suffering from different pathologies unrelated to Surgery. It is a place imbued with a humane outlook and staffed by a team of care providers qualified in Oncology, a speciality requiring both technical precision and good interpersonal skills.
The nursing staff has access to a laminar flow cabinet for the safe preparation of cytostatic agents and a range of volumetric pumps used in the administering of chemotherapy.
Located on the top floor of the Clinic, on the same level as the Cafeteria, the Oncology Unit offers not only a view, but also the comfort of being close to visitors.
