Neurosurgery has been practised in Geneva for over 50 years. All our Neurosurgeons receive university training experience, which includes several internships abroad. The gradual development of this discipline has allowed most of us to become independent and operate on virtually all of the spinal and cranial pathologies ourselves.
Due to the excellence of the Clinic’s administration and its modern Operating Theatres, Neurosurgery can be performed without any cause for concern or hesitation from either the Surgeon… or the patient. Elective or emergency Spinal Surgery, Surgery for pain and a large proportion of the Craniocerebral Surgery are all performed here every day. Thirty percent of all neurosurgical procedures from the University Hospital of Geneva are undertaken at Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, which shows how important the speciality has become here over the last few years. This development is also due to the quality of our Theatre staff, the purchasing of the best microscope currently available and the excellence of our Radiologists; all elements making this state-of-the-art Surgery possible.
