The rates charged by the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu are divided into two major categories: hospitalisation and day-patient rates.
Hospitalisation rates apply to those patients whose stay exceeds 24 hours. These rates are based on those currently applicable to Private Clinics in Geneva, and include Medical treatment and Hospital Services. The Clinic has signed agreements with a number of medical insurance companies. In exchange for submitting claims directly to the insurer, the Clinic applies preferential rates to their members.
The ambulatory treatments were suspended upon implementation of TarMed on 1st January 2004, except for chemotherapies, cosmetic surgery and radiology.
Upon request, the Clinic will provide a rough estimate of rates in both major categories on the basis of the medical information submitted (tel: 022-839-55-63 or 022-839-56-64).
Billing
Within three weeks of being discharged, the Accounting Department will issue you with a statement for the services provided. The invoice will either be sent directly to the insurer (if an agreement exists) or the patient, who may claim it back (accounting department: 022.839.56.20).
