Physical well-being session
During your stay, you will be able to have a one-on-one session with a member of our midwifery team who will provide advice and support to help enhance your physical well-being through gentle postural, relaxation and breathing exercises.
Therapy session with a psychologist
A psychologist works in our maternity unit and is available for patients who would like to have a one-on-one therapy session.
Whether you decide to breastfeed or bottle feed your baby, our consultants are available to help support you on your journey.
When you and your baby are ready to be discharged from our care, one of our midwives or maternity nurses will lead a briefing session to answer all of your questions. You will be able to share your experiences and concerns with a small group of fellow new parents, helping you to go home with complete peace of mind.
Follow-up care at home
Our maternity unit works closely with independent midwives. Whether you need advice or reassurance, these trusted healthcare professionals will support you during your first few days at home.
