Our multidisciplinary care team
Our midwives, maternity nurses and nursing assistants are committed to ensuring your safety and comfort at all times. Their extensive medical and paramedical expertise means that they are able to provide comprehensive care for all patients, including premature babies born from 34 weeks gestation and multiple deliveries.
Every parent has the right to receive the very best care during the birth of their baby. As a result, the specialist staff at our maternity unit have all completed Start4Neo, a resuscitation training programme, recommended by the Swiss Society of Neonatology, and achieved ‘Start4Neo – Basic Skills Course’ certification.
Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is the first private facility in French-speaking Switzerland to have Start4Neo-certified staff, allowing us to pursue excellence in everything we do.
Our medical team
We will let your gynaecologist know that you have arrived and they will stay in constant contact with your midwife. They will also be present during labour.
An on-call anaesthetist will be available at all times and provide appropriate care if necessary or requested.
An on-call paediatrician will also be available. All on-call paediatricians have completed Start4Neo, a resuscitation training programme, recommended by the Swiss Society of Neonatology.
