Patient safety is guaranteed at several levels and is considered fundamental in a care facility such as the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu.
Director of Nursing, coordinates the activities of various departments: Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics, Post-operative and Intensive Care, Recovery, Pharmacy and Ophthalmology, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. To accomplish this, 18 managers and 200 employees work in shifts to care for patients twenty-four hours per day.
Continuous training and optimised task assignment enable caregivers to provide the best quality of care and to build personalised relationships with each patient. In the Surgical Departments, each nurse is responsible for 6-8 patients. To give greater priority to the patient/caregiver relationship in the Medical and Maternity Departments, midwives and paediatric nurses are responsible for only 3 to 5 patients.
Within the Clinique, two laboratories (Immunohaematology and Anatomopathology) a Physiotherapy Department, an Institute of Radiology and an Institute of Nuclear Medicine guarantee the continuity and evaluation of treatments in the most favourable conditions.
