The Clinique has ample nursing staff on duty to ensure excellent overall care and availability for patients. These are two qualities, amongst others, which are particularly appreciated by patients.
In terms of skills and training, all nurses and nursing assistants are experienced and undergo further training, which allows them to maintain current levels of knowledge. Similarly, optimised task assignment, enable caregivers to provide the best quality of care and to build personalised relationships with each patient. In the Surgical Departments, each nurse, assisted by a nursing assistant, is responsible for 8 patients. To give greater priority to the patient/caregiver relationship in the Medical and Maternity Departments, midwives and paediatric nurses are responsible for only 3 to 5 patients. In addition, our nursing staff are trained in specific areas such as wound care, stomatherapy, oncology, palliative care and counselling, as well as the surgical field that includes specialised instrumentalists. The Clinique also has a nurse specialised in hospital hygiene, a clinical nurse in charge of internal training and a group of ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) certified nurses.
The Clinique’s reputation for the excellence of its technical platform and quality of care has long been established in all departments: Medical, Surgery and Obstetrics, Post-operative and Intensive Care, Pharmacy and Ophthalmology, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. To ensure this, 18 managers and 200 employees work in shifts to care for patients twenty-four hours per day.
